- Expanded version of Metal Gear Solid, which was previously exclusive to the PlayStation and unavailable exterior of Nippon, featuring diverse extras and gameplay enhancements. The PC version has a fix of two executables:
mgsi.exe
for the base of operations game andmgsvr.exe
for the VR Missions. - Music and sound effects are lower quality than the PlayStation version, and some tracks are missing. Certain audio clips play back at the wrong pitch, and framebuffer effects such as movement blur or depth of field are not displayed correctly.[ane]
